Our Story

Back in 2010, three lawyers with different backgrounds met at a corporate law conference in Toronto. We realized we were all tired of the same thing - firms that treated clients like case numbers and billable hours like they're the only thing that matters.

So we started Lumareth Voidfront with a simple idea: what if a law firm actually listened? What if we took the time to understand not just the legal problem, but the business behind it?

Fifteen years later, we're still at it. Sure, we've grown and taken on some pretty complex cases, but we haven't lost that initial spark. Every client still gets our cell numbers. Every case still gets our full attention.

How We Got Here

2010

The Beginning

Three partners, one tiny office on Bay Street, and way too much coffee. We took on our first client - a tech startup that couldn't afford the big firms but needed serious IP protection.

2013

First Major Win

Represented a mid-size manufacturer in a patent dispute that everyone said we'd lose. Didn't lose. That case put us on the map and taught us that preparation beats reputation every time.

2017

Expansion

Moved to our current suite and brought on associates who actually share our vision. Not everyone gets why we still answer our own phones sometimes, but that's kinda the point.

2021

Tech & Privacy Focus

COVID changed everything, including how companies handle data. We doubled down on tech law and privacy work because frankly, it's where the real action is these days.

2025

Today

We're handling some of the most complex corporate litigation in Ontario while still making time for the startups and mid-size companies that need real legal guidance, not just billable hours.
